During my end-of-study internship, I had the opportunity to join the engine team at Ubisoft Paris to work on the next AAA game:
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a sequel to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and the latest installment in the Ghost Recon franchise, an open world role-playing game taking place on a fictional archipelago called Auroa out in the Pacific Ocean. Unlike past games, there is no briefing of the mission and push the true survival experience to the test while overcoming the dangers on a remote island.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint was released on October 4th, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with next generation enhancements released in late 2020 for the Xbox Series S and X and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Engine Programmer (C++)
Development and maintenance of functionalities on a Ubisoft proprietary engine (AnvilNext, C++) for the studio's next AAA open world game (GR Breakpoint). Example: development on debugging tools, code integration, optimization.
